Gorgeous German silver pair of candlesticks of finest manufacturing quality as well as of most elegant appearance:
These candlesticks were made during German Empire period (= circa 1790-1810).
They are stunningly made in following manner: Each of the candlesticks has wide round foot attached to square base / above it, a fluted column is growing out of round foot, having a constriction at top. Finally, a nice ring of sculptured leaves decorates the area below of overhanging round grommet.

Hallmarked:
1. SILVER 12 LOT (= SILVER 750)
2. branded by SO-SAID TREMOLIERSTICH (= assayer's mark)
3. SILVER TOWN MARK OF LEIPZIG:
crossed swords with character 'L' (= Leipzig) with number 12 which means Silver 12 Lot: Please look at the attached picture!
