Large Edwardian Classical sterling silver box. Made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. in London in 1910. Spread trapezoid with concave corners. Cover hinged, flat, and tabbed. Raised imbricated leaf-and-berry borders. Box interior velvet lined. Cover interior gilt washed. Underside leather-lined. A dresser-top showpiece for important jewelry or keepsakes. Fully marked. Gross weight: 58 troy ounces.
