Danish Glass and Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker Bar Set

A beautiful cocktail shaker bar set made of crystal with a slight blue hue and sterling silver handles and lids from the mid-20th century. Set comprises of: - a cocktail shaker 9 3/4 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at top, with an enamoring grape and leaf finial atop - an olive container designed with grape and leaf finial atop, waved edge lid, grape handles, and measuring 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches from handle to handle. Both of these items were made by Dansk Guldsmede Handvaerk. Comes with a sterling silver mixing ladle measures 12 1/3 inches long by Bigelow Kennard & Co. Bearing hallmarks as shown in images. Bigelow, Kennard & Co. of Boston was one of the leading Boston merchants in the 19th and early 20th century, selling high-quality domestic and imported silver, glass, and clocks. John Bigelow founded the firm around 1824 and was soon followed by his brothers, Alanson & Abraham O. Bigelow and in 1830 they were known as Bigelow Brothers. Their company record belong to the library of Harvard Business School while DGH was active in Copenhagen in the mid-20th century.
