Stunning centrepiece / Fruit bowl Art Nouveau, made circa 1900. Manufactory: Otto Wolter / Schwaebisch Gmuend, Germany (= mark of manufactory impressed) German Official Silver 800 Mark existing, too: Crescent with crown Specifications: Solid silver 800 centrepiece with two massive silver handles, attached to four feet shaped as volute scrolls. Additionally, the centrepiece is decorated with ornaments covering its edges, depicting acanthus leaves (= made in chasing & chiselled technique). Original glass liner with cut star pattern existing. Silver weight: 640 grams / 22.57 oz / 17.36 troy ounces Measures: Width 16.54 inches (handles included) Depth 6.89 inches Height 6.50 inches.
