English sterling silver spouted beer jug pitcher by Peter and Ann Bateman from 1796 with applied bands and ribbon-bound reeded handle, measuring 7'' in height by 7 1/2'' from handle to spout and weighing 21.3 ozt. Bearing a JWS monogram and hallmarks as shown. Sold with Sotheby's sale labels from 2006. This jug was sold as part of a larger lot for $7,200.
