    An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver lady's mug by Henry Chawner, an addition to our Georgian silverware collection. This exceptional antique George III sterling silver mug has a plain tapering cylindrical form. The surface of this antique silver mug is embellished with an exceptional contemporary bright cut engraved coast of arms and crest depicting a demi-stag chained and collared. The upper and lower portions are encircled with tooled decorated borders to the rims. This ladies antique silver mug is fitted with an impressive tooled decorated S-scroll handle. The underside of the mug is ornamented with the contemporary engraved inscription: 'The Gift of Mrs Hourman at the age of eighty eight to her Great Grandson Edwd John Fisher, Novr 3 1790'.     A fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver soup tureen; an addition to our silver dining collection This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver soup tureen has a plain oval shaped form onto a plain oval domed spreading foot. The surface of this piece is embellished with a bright cut engraved crest of on a chapeau turned up a lion rampant supporting an arrow palewise feathered and headed to one side. This antique silver soup tureen retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, surmounted with the original hallmarked detachable shaped scrolling handle with acanthus leaf decoration. The antique silver soup tureen is fitted with thread decorated loop handles with acanthus leaf terminals. Condition This antique silver soup tureen is an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition. This piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body have wear in keeping with age and location, but all remain legible. The part hallmarks to the cover handle are all clear.  Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Edwardian silverware.
