Victorian sterling silver and glass inkwell. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1889. Drum form with curved shoulder and zipper-cut twisted flutes. Short neck with sterling silver collar and hinged ball cover with allover floral repousse. Sterling silver base collar with chased floral garland. A pretty yesteryear artefact. Fully marked including date symbol and no. S633.
