About

A fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver pepper shaker realistically modelled in the form of a bear, an addition to our range of silver novelty items This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver pepperette has been realistically modelled in the form of a bear. This impressive pepperette is embellished with embossed and chased decoration reproducing the details of the bear’s fur and features. The pepperette retains the original fully hallmarked push fit cover or head which features pierced 'pepper' holes to the posterior surface. This impressive antique model sits to a plain circular base. Such original period pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Condition This antique sterling silver pepperette is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the surface of the cover/head are all very clear.
