Silver Plate Meat Platter

About the Item

This fine silver plate meat platter exhibits the finest Georgian-inspired design, with a gracefully scalloped border edged by precise gadrooning and accented by an expertly engraved armorial. Large pieces of silver plate, especially those of such superior form, are rare and highly sought by collectors. A wonderful addition to any silver service. Stamped “EP on CU” for “Electroplate on Copper”, circa 1880. Measures: 14 ¾” wide x 20” long.
