Tudric Pewter Sugar and Creamer Designed by Archibold Knox for Liberty of London

About the Item

Tudric pewter, designed by Archibold Knox for Liberty of London, circa 1902-1903. The design of this striking sugar and creamer set features a Celtic Revival design with notes of Art Nouveau. A rare find, this set was finely fabricated by Haseler’s of Birmingham for Liberty & Co. of London. Excellent condition. Remark: “Character, quality and rarety.” Size: Sugar and creamer are approximately 5 inches diameter including handles by 2 5/8 inches tall Weight: 66.79 grams total Hallmarks: H for W. H. Haseler, Made in England, Solkets, 'Tudric', 0231, and RD420290 Stock number: 20452.
