Tre Fuochi Gilt Murano Dessert Set

US$550per set

About

The murano glass dessert set is made in a rare technique called Tre Fuochi, which means “three flames” or “triple-firing” in Italian. This technique hails from the opulence of the eighteenth century Venice where many wealthy Venetians and foreigners sought out exclusive tableware to show off their elite status at dinners and balls. Tre Fuochi technique involves lots of expensive 24 karat gold and painstaking, three step, manual work of painting gold leaf and enamels on the glassware. Gorgeous petal and gold design. Excellent vintage condition. 5 individual serving dishes. One compote dish. Compote dish: 6 3/4” H x 7 1/4” L x 7 1/4” D Individual serving:4 1/2” H x 4”W x 4” D.
