Monumental Caviar Bowl Crystal and Ormolu or Bronze Dore Dolphin Centerpiece
About the Item
A superb quality and large scaled neoclassical or Empire style crystal caviar bowl. It can also be used as a centerpiece on your favorite entry table or wall console.
Place this magnificent piece in the sunlight and watch the stunning colors bounce. Tap the lidded top and listen to a chime that is like the sound of magnificent classical music.
Raised by charming ormolu paw feet with a unique foliate and ball design below a wraparound ormolu band. At the center is a scrolled ormolu plate. Fine ormolu band flank the thick and striking cut crystal bowl. Above is a dome shaped cut crystal lid with an impressive and richly chased final and foliate movements.
This spectacular piece is made in France according to the fine standards of the long-standing traditions. Similar to the French crystal bowls made by the Benito Family.
Measures: 9 1/2 inches diameter x 20" inches high
Interior of the bowl measures 4" deep x 8 1/2" diameter
Filled with flowers or fruit this centerpiece will set a mood of a bygone era.
