Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Ladle, 18th Century

About the Item

An attractive Georgian sterling silver ladle. It has a deep round bowl with a bright cut engraved handle. Large clear hallmarks to the reverse with a rat tail end pattern. Nice and solid with a decent weight and strong handle, some minor surface marks but overall good condition. No monograms and there is a blank space to monogram on the top upper of the handle if desired. A lovely piece of antique silver fir the home and hard to believe that hails from the 18th century. Fully hallmarked for London, 1784, maker John Lambe, sterling silver.
