About the Item
A stylish midcentury Danish stoneware pottery sculpture of an Asian figure carrying two large pottery vessels with further vessels standing on the base by L Hjorth. The large figure is glazed in blue and brown on a grey colored ground and is mounted on an oval shaped base and is marked with various impressed marks to the base. Offered in excellent condition.
Provenance: From a large private collection of Scandinavian, mainly Danish, pottery and associated period items.
