17th century Islamic Iznik ceramic pottery Kendi jug
This rare and precious antique Kendi jug is probably from the 17th century and it is exceptionally beautifully hand painted in muted colors. This elegant and well balanced jug is decorated with running deer and birds in the density of leaves and flowers.
The condition is surprisingly good, considering the age. Only the base is slightly chipped. (Pictured)
