A vintage studio pottery bowl made at Avoncroft Pottery by Geoffrey Whiting. The bowl of squat rounded form has a fold in rim and is decorated in tenmoku glazes over a grey stone glazed ground with a combed pattern to the body of the bowl and to the unglazed base. The bowl is not marked but acquired from Geoffrey Whiting by the previous owner.
