Tea Cup and Saucer Nantgarw Porcelain, circa 1815

About the Item

A rare tea cup and saucer in Nantgarw’s superb soft-paste porcelain. Each piece is gilded and decorated in one of the London workshops with superb flower painting, probably by Moses Webster. The Nantgarw factory lasted only a few years, but their porcelain was exceptional, and much favored by the very best of the London decorators.
