Meissen Snake Handles Vase / designed by Leuteritz Manufactory: Meissen Dating: made during Pfeiffer Period 1924 - 34 Hallmarked: Meissen Mark with Point above the Swords (= Pfeiffer Period) FIRST QUALITY model number E 116 / former's number 67 Material: white and cobalt blue porcelain, partially golden painted, glossy finish, flower (multicolored) painting Technique: handmade porcelain Style: Neo - Empire Style, designed by E.A. Leuteritz (circa 1861) SPECIFICATIONS: Meissen Finest Snake Handles Vase -- the vase's upper part is decorated with a pair of sculptured snakes having function of handles -- the vase's outer wall made of golden painted / white and cobalt blue porcelain is decorated at front side with finest flower painting laid on white porcelain as well as edged by golden painted scrolls: There are for example dahlia flowers and plume poppies visible. -- the vase's round foot as well as edge of mouth, handles and parts of surface are decorated with golden paintings as well as with sculptured stylized patterns. MEASURES / DIMENSIONS: height: 38.5 cm (= 15.15 inches ) width (measured from one handle to other): 24.0 cm (= 9.44 inches) depth: 17.0 cm (= 6.69 inches) CONDITION: EXCELLENT / there aren't any damages existing
