About
A fine and scarce Chelsea porcelain plate painted by James Giles painted en camaieu with green floral swags dating from circa 1755. The plate has a shaped rim and is decorated in shades of green with garlands of floral designs hanging from a looped cord painted in puce around the rim of the plate. The plate has a red anchor mark painted to the base.
In good condition with some minor professional restoration to several small rim chips.
