Two Georgian Mason's Ironstone Oval Dishes Table & Flower Pot Pattern, Ca 1818

US$641.99per set

About

These are a good pair of hand-painted Mason's ironstone small oval dishes, in the table and flower pot pattern, from their earliest George IIIrd period, circa 1818.  These are a well potted pair of small shaped oval moulded edge dishes. Both pieces are well painted in the recorded Chinoiserie pattern called the table and flower pot pattern, showing a golden flower vase by a small table with a Swan sitting on a nest of yellow eggs on a pink lake. The pattern is hand enamelled, over-glaze in colors of burnt orange, yellow, brown, blue, green, and pink over an under-glaze printed outline with gold gilding to one side of the vase. Both pieces are fully marked to the base with Mason's large crown and banner printed mark color washed in green, which date these pieces to circa 1818. Overall, a very decorative pair of small Georgian Mason's dishes.
