Spanish Faience charger with leaping stag, Talavera, circa 1780-1800 (Ref: NY9178/AMRX) The large deep tin-glazed earthenware dish is painted with a large figure of a stylized prancing stag amongst oak trees. Below is a painted inscription reading "Jv. Gutrv. Arias.: Dimensions: 14 1/2 inches diameter x 3 inches.
