Midcentury Provencal Saint-Pol-de-Léon French Floral 7 Piece Oyster Service

A charming vintage, 1960s French Oyster service, a master server plus six plates, marked St.-Pol-De-Leon. Saint-Pol-de-Léon is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany in north-western France, located on the coast and known for its artichokes and oysters. The service shows a blue sponged border and oyster wells also lined in the sponged blue with a sunny yellow lining. Each well has a hand-painted blossom. The colors are similar to those seen in the Quimper region of France as well. The six plates – 10 in. Diameter x .50 in. height. The serving platter – 13.5 in. Diameter x 1 in. height. In excellent vintage condition.
