    A large and impressive British studio pottery handled jug decorated in matted glazes by renowned potter Robin Welch and dating from the 20th century. The stoneware jug is of cylindrical shape with a large loop handle with thumb rest attached to the side and with a large pouring spout moulded to the rim. The jug has a simple incised line pattern with sections decorated in mottled blue and brown glazes with the brown glazes also applied to the inner jug.
