French Vintage Iridescent Art Nouveau Ceramic Jug by Alphonse Cytere, 1910

About the Item

A 20th century French vintage collectible pitcher or jug of circular shape crafted in a green iridescent color, France, 1910. Signed at reverse Alphonse Cytère, a notable ceramist who invented the metallic effect on ceramic. 1903 Alphonse Cytere set up an art pottery studio in Rambervillers which has been specialized in unusual and iridescent glazes on organic forms. The pieces produced has been designed by prestigious artists of the Ecole de Nancy (Bussiere, Gruber, Jeandelle, Majorelle for example). With a strong focus on Italian midcentury designs, his success strives from sourcing designs with striking shapes, creative techniques and interesting materials that cross the concept of time in the same way a Spirit does.? All our pieces are expertly restored at our atelier and we only offer items that will last another lifetime. Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. There may be light age-related wear but no hard damages or structural issues.? Since the launch of our gallery in late 2017, we have exported over 280 items to buyers in 21 countries located in all four corners of the world from Europe and North America to Asia and Australia.  In the United-States alone, we have ensured the delivery of over 150 pieces of all sizes (from massive dining tables to small decorative objects) in 23 states.  We take the utmost attention to our packaging by building robust made to measure boxes in our atelier with the aim of providing safe and cost-effective delivery prices for every client. Most deliveries arrive smoothly in less than 8 days. We are located both in Paris and Rabat. FYI the Morocco Free Trade Agreement (MAFTA) went into effect on January 1, 2006. Under the agreement, most Moroccan goods enter the United States duty-free.?
