About:
This is a beautiful glass bowl made by George Davidson and Co. of Gateshead, England who started production of cloud glass in 1923.
This bowl has a roll-over rim and is shape or pattern the bowl has a lovely purple-amethyst color and is polished on the outer rim and inside bowl with a matte or satin finish to the fluted side and base.
Cloud glass is created by applying streaks or trails of dark colored glass to a paler base glass which is then compressed in a mould to create a beautiful random finished pattern, each piece being unique.

Height 12 cm, 4.7 inch
Width 20 cm, 7.8 inch.
