A French neoclassical faïence transfer printed creamware plate, Creil, circa 1824-1836. A black transfer of an architectural image on a creamware body, depicting the Palais des Beaux Arts a Paris. The building is prominent, with the title printed below. Strolling figures are seen in the foreground. A running floral border follows the rim. Measures: 8.5 in. Diameter x .75 in. Height A partial impressed makers mark on the verso. The expected wear. Light discoloring.
