21st Century Handmade Vietri Ceramic 18 Plates in Blue and White Made in Italy
About the Item
Vietri collection, Made in Italy. Vietri Ceramic table set hand made and hand decorated with horn good lucky, O'Curniciello, typical superstitious symbol par excellence. Ceramic plates, created following a lengthy and complex production process. The first phase involves shaping the clay on the wheel, from which the form and structure is given. Followed by a first kiln firing at 980°- 990°. They are then immersed in a white glaze and allowed to dry, and only later decorated by hand. The colors are brighter thanks to a second ring that fixes the works drawn. The most important characteristic of the plates made from Vietri ceramics is that there will never be two objects alike.
Each object is unique! Because of being handmade.

Waiting for the Bus
Waiting for the bus is a journey of recovery with stops in the places known for having the best Italian handicraft, from the North to South of the peninsula, in search of quality Articles, where the “Made in Italy” is still done by hands that process the raw material according to the most ancient traditions. Waiting for the bus reinterprets these unique pieces in a contemporary way, it transforms them by customizing decoration, colors and functions of use.
