Please note:
Emile Galle´ and his father Charles manufactured stunning faience fantasy & armorial pieces in a workshop at St.Clement during period as from the year 1864 until 1876 / the mentioned manufactory was owned by the Thomas Family then. St.Clement is situated in the neighbourhood of Nancy, the town where Emile Galle´ was born and where Charles Galle´ had a store selling finest crystal and ceramics items.

Stunning models, abundantly painted with blue colours: material is faience / glazed / partially cobalt blue painted
Hallmarked at upper side: name of manufactury: ' St. Cle´ment ' (blue painted and underglazed)
Probably designed by Gengoult Prouve´ (attributed).

Gorgeous sculptured pair of figurines, showing walking and roaring lions, having large paws with claws. Each of them holds a tower / the mentioned towers may have a function, too: A candle can be put into.
