18th Century Delft Ceramic Bowl

About the Item

A large late 18th century delft earthenware shallow bowl or dish, decorated in blue, with a handwritten Dutch motto in the center. Rough translation: "He who sees through his own heart doesn't judge his brother anything". Yellow glaze to underside with a rope to hang on the wall for display. Losses to glaze in center and rim. Please refer to photos for more details.
