Zaccagnini Signed Firenze Italy Midcentury Ceramic Big Vase or Umbrella Stand



Large vase or umbrella stand with ceramic rope decoration, graffiti drawn body surface all in ceramic, invented by Urbano Zaccagnini and produced in Florence Italy, circa 1940 by the Zaccagnini Manufacture, this series of fascinating vases had an enormous public approval at the time and this type of models won prizes at the most important exhibitions of applied arts and art objects of the time, testifying the articles dedicated to these pieces by Gio Ponti in his famous Domus magazine.
