Ceramic Chinoiserie Vide Poche Decorative Dishes, Set of 4

About the Item

A set of four pretty scalloped chinoiserie dishes. Each dish is slightly bowl-shaped and would be fabulous if used as a lemon dish at a place setting, or as a vide poche on a nightstand. Each plate is decorated in hand-painted with a traditional Japanese scene of women dressed in traditional Japanese Geisha attire. Decorative peonies and a garden landscape in muted yellows and bright emerald greens. Around the edges of the scallops on the rims, are painted with small gold accents. Dimensions: 5" diameter 1.25" tall.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Age-appropriate wear. Some rubbing to the gold around the edges, as well as a hairline crack to the bottom which does not come through the top.
