George Jones Majolica 9-in plate with mottled center, green wheat leaves and wheat stalks on turquoise, the inner and outer border glazed in yellow/ochre. The reverse with impressed 'GJ' monogram and painted pattern number '1808,' English, circa 1870. Curiously, this design is typically seen without the wheat stalks. For nearly thirty years we have been among the world's preeminent specialists in Fine Antique Majolica.
