George Jones Majolica compote with mottled center and stylized green wheat Leaves on a turquoise glazed ground, the inner and outer borders glazed in yellow/ochre, raised on paw feet, the reverse glazed with faux-tortoiseshell mottling, with raised cartouche mark and 'GJ' monogram below 'STOKE-ON-TRENT,' with painted design number '1808,' English, circa 1870.
