Gastone Batignani Engraved Ceramic Vase, Italy 1940s

About the Item

The Ceramiche Batignani company was born in Tuscany in 1907 from the artistic and creative skills of Gastone Batignani, the founder. He started the creation of ceramic models and artistic objects using a totally manual process. His precious secrets and his experience have been inherited by his children, and today the company produces a wide range of high quality classic and contemporary furnishing objects with exclusive shapes and decorations. Batignani produces flower pots, potiches, vase holders, trays, lamp bases, etc ..., all rigorously executed on a lathe with the use of triple oven cooking and the use of precious pure gold.
