D. Peterson Ceramic Pitcher and Cups Set Dated 1956

About the Item

This handmade ceramic pitcher and cups set has classically simple forms. The glaze treatment is wonderfully irregular, embracing the spontaneity of the process. The darker glaze on the outsides dribbles and drips into the lighter glaze of the interiors, and the edges of the glaze Meander around the outside of the pitcher with wrinkles and imperfections giving it character and individuality. Signed: "D. Peterson 1956". Approximate measurements: pitcher- 6.25" diameter x 9.5" high cups- 3.13" diameter x 2.75" high.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
