English Sterling Silver and Crocodile Skin Hip Flask, 1929

About the Item

A handsome English sterling silver hip or liquor flask made from sterling silver and the upper half wrapped in Crocodile skin with a lovely cognac color with a good patina. The collar and hinged lid are made from sterling silver as is the removable drinking cup fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1928/1929. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, F Burton Crosbee. A truly good sized flask in excellent condition measuring 5 5/8" x 3 3/8" x 1 1/4".
