This is a vintage Famille Rose vase. A Chinese, ceramic decorative baluster urn, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940. Copious decorations abound with this pleasing Art Deco example Displays a desirable aged patina, in good order throughout Ceramic shows a crisp white ground, upon which a gilt finish shines The body decorated with four panels, alternating between two scenes To the front and rear, a vibrant, colourful court scene of several seated figures Secondary panels depicts a bountiful tree visited by a bird of paradise and butterflies Gold coloured border hosts garlands of foliate motif throughout the vase Graced with the maker's stamp to base This is a charming vintage Famille Rose vase, with the sought after late Art Deco taste and fine detail.
