Victoria ceramic flower vase by Marco Zannini (Italy.)
Rare. Zanini had the notion (correctly, in actuality) that most artistic flower vases almost never get used in reality. Thus, he designed for this piece (as well as its companion works, BAYKAL & TANGANYIKA) its own ceramic "flower."
Large and prepossessing in scale, it is a true early MEMPHIS icon.
Fabricated by Bitossi Ceramiche (Firenze) under the skillful eyes of Master Ceramicists Aldo Londi & Giovanni Masoni.
