Set of two midcentury Danish vases designed by Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Søn and made circa 1960s. Both vases are made of stoneware and belong to the same series. They both have a matte gray, blue and brownish glaze. Tall vase: Height 26 cm (10,2") and diameter 11,2 cm (4.4") Impressed Michael Andersen hallmark three fish in a shield, "6105", "Bornholm", "Denmark". Painted "MS" for Marianne Starck. Budded vase: Impressed Michael Andersen hallmark three fish in a shield, "6107", "Bornholm", "Denmark" Painted "MS" for Marianne Starck - but hidden by papersticker. Wears original MA&S papersticker.
