About
A beautifully executed, handmade, buckeye wood turned vase by Rude Osolnik who is widely regarded, along with Bob Stocksdale, as one of the finest woodturners in American woodturning history. In 1992, he was presented by then Kentucky Governor Brereton Jones, the Milner Award, the Governor's Award for Lifetime Achievement.
The vase is signed "Osolnik Originals Buckeye" by the artist on the base.
A very wonderful piece. Would be a great addition to any midcentury or wood turned collection or an eye-catching stand-alone work in about any setting.
