Pair of Aluminum Art Deco Kensington Marlborough Vases by Lurelle Guild

$250per set

Pair of Marlborough vases designed by Lurelle Guild in 1934 for Kensington Inc. The Kensington Ware line was introduced in 1934 by Alcoa as aluminum alloy giftware and domestic items. It was marketed as having the same advantages of silver, pewter and chrome but none of the disadvantages. It did not tarnish or stain. The vases are aluminum with brass bases. These show very little wear. There are a few small light scratches and a couple of small dings the the top rim.
