Modernist fat lava ceramic vases by Roth Banjo 313 and Lozenge 309 vases, 1970s, Dorothea Roth 1970-present Founded in the 1970s by Edmund Roth. The factory was in Ebernhahn at the heart of the West German ceramics industry. It was relatively small employing only about 20 people in the 1960s-1970s. All designs are thought to be by Dorothea Roth. Design 313 ‘Banjo’ Vase measures 23 cm high and 13 cm at its widest point Dimensions for design 309 ‘Lozenge’ vase height 18 cms, width 10 cms.
