A striking Martin Brothers stoneware art pottery vase decorated with an stylised incised petal design and decorated in brown glazes dated 1906. The rounded bulbous vase stands on a narrow rounded base with a narrow raised neck. The vase is decorated with an incised pattern with light feathering to each petal and is decorated in darker brown on a very light chocolate brown colored glaze with hints of red. The vase has incised marks 7 1906 Martin Bros London & Southall to the base. Offered in good condition. Provenance: acquired from an extensive private Martin Brothers pottery collection. Property of a Belgium based gentleman British Art pottery Collector.
