A Martin Brothers stoneware art pottery vase decorated with mottled blue glazes dated 1894. The rounded bulbous vase stands on a narrow rounded base with a narrow raised neck with trumpet shaped top. The vase is decorated with a simple underglaze line design around the lower neck and is decorated with thick and unevenly applied blue glazes with elements of the pottery showing through. The vase has incised marks 1894 Martin Bros London & Southall to the base. Offered in good condition. Provenance: Acquired from an extensive private Martin Brothers pottery collection. From the private collection of a Belgium based British Art Pottery Collector.
