Kaj Franck - KF486 - Goblet - Nuutajärvi

About the Item

Product Description:  This goblet by Kaj Franck for Nuutajärvi is made by combining four different pieces of glass. There are various designs of thes goblets each with different color combinations and shapes. The work on offer is orange/red at the top, has a clear piece of glass under it, the third piece of glass is clear with a yellow mottled pattern that is transparant and changes color when hold in light. The foot has a deep blue-purple color when exposed to light, and a blue color close to black when viewed in a slightly dark room. Colors of the goblet are difficult to express on a picture as their correct depiction is sensitive to the type of LCD screen and lights used. Furthermore, colors are interpreted differently by different people making an exact representation impossible. Under the foot of the goblet there is a signature of the artis reading: "Kaj Franck Nuutajärvi Notsjö". Product Condition: A bubble mark can be seen in one place on the inside of the red orange glass part on top (visible on picture), and it is slightly dented. Threads can be seen under the goblets foot and the central part is rough, however this happened during manufacturing. Overall the goblet is in good condition with no damage that spoils the aesthetics of the whole. Series: KF486 Weight: 449g
