Large Moorcroft Pottery 'Gatekeeper' Peacock Vase by Emma Bossons, Dated 2003

About the Item

"Gatekeeper" vase by Emma Bossons for Moorcroft Pottery, in the Arts & Crafts style, the tube-line surface with a molded gate, each section with an attendant stylized peacock with intractely tube-lined feathers and decorated with naturalitic glazes; the reverse with impressed marks, 'Moorcroft Pottery, Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England,' and date cypher (pen nib) for 2003; with painted singnature, 'E. BOSSONS,' and the date, '12th June 2003,' and additional copyright date '2001,' when the design was registered. A Prestige Vase, only 45 were produced. Measures 20.5 inches high.
