David Leach Vertical Line Design Large Studio Pottery Vase

About

A fine and unusual large studio pottery vase of tapering waisted form with contrasting vertical stripes on dark brown ground by David Leach (1911-2005) and probably made in the early days of Lowerdown around 1960. The vase is made in red clay and bears an impressed LD mark to the lower edge. Provenance: Acquired from the Trevor Coldrey Collection. In good condition with minor wear associated with age.
