Blue Black Cream Porcelain Vase by Contemporary Japanese Master Artist

About the Item

Exceptional contemporary Japanese decorative porcelain vase, hand painted in black and the artist's signature purple on a beautifully shaped trapezoid porcelain body. It is the signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed master porcelain artist from Kutani region of Japan with 360 years history of producing very fine porcelain pieces. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his unique work, including Nitten first prize. The artist's profile is available upon request. This stunning piece on the artist's signature gradation purple features the most beloved Mount Fuji from two different angles and both partly covered with snow, each appearing on one side of this stunning vase. cherry blossom branches decorates one side, while the other side features graceful Japanese pine branches, both appearing in black with gold details. The two narrow sides of the vase showcases a beautiful foliage motif in soft cream color on a striped purple background. This exquisite porcelain vase comes in a custom-made wooden case signed by the artist. Dimensions: H 11.5 in, W 8 in, D 3 in.
