Exceptional handblown glass "Bands" vase with red and white bands and gold foil by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, 1956-1960. This is an iconic Anzolo Fuga design.

AVEM Arte Vetraria Muranese, Artistic Production 1932-1972 by Marc Heiremans, Arnoldsche Press in 2020, shows an archival photo of this model on page 74 with a photo of this model on page 75.
Provenance: Evan Lobel purchased this piece directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 60’s.
