Antique Blue and White Porcelain Bronze Table Lamp Chinese Japanese European
About the Item
Stunning traditional bulbous form Art Deco period blue and white ribbed porcelain vases of generous proportions, now converted to a pair of electric table lamps, possibly of Chinese or European origin, complete with later heavy gauge patinated bronze base of square outline with canted corners, first quarter of the 20th century.
The main outer porcelain body with ribbed surface detail and all-over typical decorative palette in colors of blue tones on an off-white ground.
Measures: Height (entire overall as shown in image one an impressive) 23” (58.5cm), width (at bronze base) 6” (15.25cm), depth (at bronze base) 6" (15.25cm).
Condition: Superb condition with no losses. The ormolu mounts have been re-gold plated. These lamps are re-wired for electricity. Back and front views are similar.
Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
Stunning lamp of large proportions, almost twice the height of a regular wine bottle, see image.
